Miter Saw

Purpose: The miter saw is used to change the length of stock.

Safety Instructions:

• Wear safety glasses.

• Wear fitted clothing. Confine long hair.

• Ensure all guards are in place and are operating properly.

• Ensure power is disconnected before making any adjustments or changing blades.

• Hold work firmly against the fence and table.

• Keep hands at least 5” away from the saw blade when holding the work.

• Draw saw head out and away, squeeze the thumb switch and ON/OFF switch.

• Drop the saw head and push the saw through the work at a controlled rate.

• Wait for the saw to fully stop before removing work.
